Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ruhani Ember website and purchases from us. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to the applicable terms. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

1. Eligibility & Customer Information

You must have legal capacity to enter a purchase contract and provide accurate contact, payment and delivery details. Purchases are for personal use unless we agree to wholesale or resale arrangements in writing.

2. Product Descriptions & Fragrance Experience

We aim to describe products accurately. Minor differences in packaging appearance, screen colours or fragrance colour may occur without changing a product’s essential characteristics. Fragrance preferences, perceived similarity, projection and longevity vary by person and conditions of use.

Our “99–100% scent match” statement refers to our own comparison testing. It is not an independent certification or a promise that every person will perceive an identical scent. This does not override an express product description or your rights if goods are materially different from what was described.

3. Independent Brand & Designer References

Ruhani Ember is an independent fragrance brand. References to designer fragrances identify scent inspiration only and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by their brands, perfumers or campaign faces. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. Historical stories, awards and campaign references concern the original designer fragrance unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Prices, Currency & Charges

Our base prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Currency conversions are estimates; the payment currency and applicable taxes and shipping charges will be disclosed before payment. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rates or fees. We may change prices for future purchases, but will not increase an accepted order’s price without your agreement.

5. Orders & Acceptance

An order acknowledgement confirms receipt and does not by itself mean acceptance. We accept an order when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch it. Before acceptance, we may decline an order for unavailable stock, payment failure, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error or another legitimate reason. We will notify you and refund any payment for an order we cannot fulfil. We will not charge a higher corrected price without your agreement.

6. Offers & Sample Credit

Promotions are subject to their displayed eligibility, availability and end conditions. Offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Our launch extra 20% discount applies to qualifying deals for the first 50 customers as advertised and is reflected in the cart.

Our sample offer costs $9 CAD. Purchase a full-size bottle within seven days of the sample purchase to receive a $9 credit toward that bottle. Proof of the qualifying sample purchase may be required. The credit may be redeemed once per sample purchase, cannot exceed the bottle price and has no cash value except where required by law. It cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly permitted. We may refuse duplicate or fraudulent claims. Future changes do not remove a credit already earned under the applicable offer.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Please provide a complete, accurate delivery address. Shipping methods, charges, restrictions and delivery estimates are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Reasonable redelivery costs caused by an incorrect customer address may apply where lawful. Contact us promptly about damaged or missing parcels so we can investigate; your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellation

Our Return & Exchange Policy forms part of these terms. We do not accept change-of-mind or fragrance-preference returns, including opened or used products, but this does not restrict remedies for faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods. Contact us promptly if you wish to cancel before dispatch; we will accommodate cancellation where possible and honour any cancellation rights required by law.

9. Caring for Your Unique Skin

Enjoy your Ruhani Ember fragrance as part of your daily ritual. Every skin type is unique, so we recommend a small patch test before first use. Apply to healthy, unbroken skin, avoid the eyes, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

For external use only. Keep away from children, heat and open flames. Test cautiously before applying to fabrics, as staining may occur. Layering suggestions are optional and do not guarantee a particular result. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for harm caused by misuse, improper storage, alteration or failure to follow directions; this does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Website Content & Acceptable Use

Our branding, original text, photographs and website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for lawful personal shopping and uses otherwise permitted by law. Do not commit fraud, interfere with website security or misuse our services.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. By submitting a review for publication, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display and format it without changing its meaning. We may moderate spam, abusive content and fake reviews.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business profits. Where a liability limit is lawful, our liability relating to an affected order is limited to the amount paid for the affected product and its delivery. These limits do not apply to fraud, personal injury where liability cannot be limited, or any other non-excludable liability or consumer remedy.

12. Updates & Applicable Law

Updated terms apply prospectively. The terms in effect when an order is accepted govern that order unless you agree otherwise or law requires a change. These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without removing mandatory protections available where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
